The Pickin' Parlor Lesson Studio is home to veteran music teacher and performer Matthew Hyman. He is committed to providing practical music lessons to all ages of the community in a space where creative minds come to be inspired.

Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Matthew Hyman is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
Based in Bend, Oregon since 1991, he was one of the founding members of Bend's 17-year legendary bluegrass band Moon Mountain Ramblers.
Currently, Matt is the lead guitar for Bend's favorite folk-rock party band, Oregon Fryer.
His passion and creativity for musical craft lead him to share his experience and musical knowledge with others through private music instruction.
